RE: Who do you like in the NBA finals this year? Lebron or Steph Curry & the Pick Setters

Such a great series though. Wow. Lebron is still building his rep big time, but Igoudala has a lot to brag on too. I see a miniaturized parallel between these two and Wilt/Russell. The major difference being that James is the one who has established himself as a winner.

Sucks because you know this is the closest Cleveland will ever get for a long time.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Ya'll are acting like it's over.
We go back to Cleveland on Tuesday.
It's gone 1-2-2 so far. No reason the Cavs can't rattle off 2 more.
Can't let 'ol Steph Curry or Iguodala rattle off them back breakers, though.

Man. Honestly, I wouldn't want to tie the series. I want them to lose as far away from the win as possible. Can't take too many more The Fumbles.

Rough. But fair.

I definitely like my Curry hot!
LeBron has to be MVP of the series regardless of who wins.

I just read that there is a precedent for giving the MVP of the series to a player on the losing team. Jerry West. So no two ways about it, you've got to give it to Lebron. The only reason you give it to Curry in the regular season is you look at the body of work, where wins are big. While it is an individual award, there is reason to give it to the player who is a catalyst for the better team effect. But Curry has been contained in this series at times where James never was (or will be).
Exian, why do you think the Cavs won't be back next year? I would expect them to be better than this year.

Always loved loved loved Iguodala when he was in Philly. One of the absolutely most fantastic defenders in the league, with enough offense to be a star (and I think he was for a couple of years there). And a ridiculous dunker. Maybe the only ex-Sixer I'd rather see get a trophy would be Ashton Kutcher Kyle Korver.

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.

LeBron has had ZERO consistent support. Last night he pulls off a triple double and double doubles in 3 of the other 4 games IIR.
I love Curry and his swagger, but King James is the best on the court for this series, IMO

They've got a bit of freedom for making moves this offseason (including either jettisoning Kevin Love or getting him at a discount) and at least four or five years of an effective Lebron James. Even as his skills erode, he'll be one of the best players in the league, and he knows how to get others involved and make them better. It's possible that with Love and Irving this series would have been an easier win for Golden State, but it's also possible that it would have been a victory for Cleveland. There is hope for the next few seasons unless they make some awful moves (which is certainly possible; who knows what effect being this close to the Browns will have on their front office?).
If the Cavs win in seven, just put James in the HOF right then and there and let him play the rest of his career wearing a small cape on the back of his jersey.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
