A decade of online experience has taught me that some people don't follow links...

It's best to provide the text itself when it's not overly long.

Staff hat on.

No. It isn't. We are not a mirror site, we are a discussion site. This is not how how we do things here. Provide a summary or a very short excerpt and link along with your commentary.

Has anyone read the book/seen the film Philomena?

Randy?

Sad story.

Hey, did you hear the story of the mass child grave they found in Ireland where nuns had been disposing of 'unwanted' children?

Another sad story.

But religion is about peace, love, understanding and forgiveness. Everyone knows that, he said, sarcastically.

An interesting documentary about the laundries that includes eye witness accounts. It is only about 14 minutes long

Thank you so much for posting this.

I can't understand how/why anyone would want to/can defend this.

I wonder what catholics think of this and how they can defend their religion.

Don't ya just love religion?
If you are not nice to me, I WILL mention you in my suicide note.

What is most intriguing is why other scumbags that believe the boygod, slightly differently, aren't showing up to say catholics aren't christians, like we saw so many times before. Each tend to it's business, I guess Angel

They have their own skeletons in the closet.  Religion is a lucrative scam.

I'd have a thousand times more respect for Catholics if they'd actually acknowledge the shortcomings of their church instead of whining about anti-Catholic agendas. Instead, we get people like Randy that do their best to defend the church no matter what it's accused of and whine that anyone that criticizes Catholicism just has an agenda to push.

If you're tired of playing whack-a-mole, stop trying to defend the indefensible.

And just remember that the stink goes all the way to the top with your fucking pervert church.
