Not the lie but nice try.  Here is a shot of my garden taken two dogs ago.  I've lost access to this account (so annoying) so I can post pictures from there but you only get a small image unless you click on it to follow it back to flickr.  The deep black shadow on the ground was my Lab/Golden retriever cross, Sophie.  [From this set of set of older garden photos:  https://flic.kr/s/aHsiSHxpeb  .]

This is the nearly the same view taken about ten years ago?  This year I replaced my last bit of lawn, the twenty foot circle you barely see on the left here, with flag stone as a concession to the drought.

This one is for you, Steel.  A picture of my dog Daisy, the first one Lia and I got together and the one before Sophie.  She had an old Elkhound when we met and I had a Collie/Shepherd cross.  They both died shortly after we got together.  We got Daisy even though I was still in college (late bloomer).  The aviary is the first one I built in the summer after my first year of teaching.  So this photo is about 24 years old.

Yes, not recommended. You know how every dog loses focus when they spot a squirrel? Dalmatians do the same for any kind of stimulation whatsoever. Stimulus/response, no delay.
