I just hear them as people wishing me well. Not really sure what else to do with it. It may very well be people wishing me well and I wouldn't say for certain they aren't just trying to be nice, but it's still condescending as fuck, because it implies that you need to be prayed for, as in there's something wrong with you and also that the person praying is somehow magically superior to you in terms of brownie points with the big guy and has the authority to ask him to fix you. Personally I find this incredibly insulting. I was once told by a jesus-obsessed acquaintance that she would pray for me and in response I said something along the lines of 'tell god I love satan's dick' RE: "The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us..." should we be grateful?

I'm conflicted because, on the one hand, I like the current pope for his inclusiveness and reasonableness. I like him for his statements on social issues, I don't like him for his dogma. I don't have to buy the whole package to agree with someone saying the right things occasionally. As for the redeeming issue, my always repeated point still stands. Given the trinity, what was the sacrifice and what for? RE: "The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us..." should we be grateful?

He was in the Hitler Youth, which was mandatory, given his date of birth. There's everything to not like about him, starting with his career and ending with his term as pope, but that's just ludicrous and baseless. Minimalist is a lapsed Catholic who needs to go to confession. RE: "The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us..." should we be grateful?

"The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us..."
Oh sweet! *does some mild sinning* "Hey stop or you'll burn in hell!" ...but you just said...
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue RE: "The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us..." should we be grateful?

redeemed all of us for himself to himself
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
