So showing their crimes is unethical but murdering an unarmed man is what?  Great fucking police work.

Amazing arrogance.  No wonder more of them are being shot.  People have every reason to expect they will be gunned down by these thugs in blue.  Even criminals have a self-preservation instinct.

This shit is getting out of hand.

Saw some interesting numbers a couple of days ago. During the first 8 months of 2015 a total of 24 police officers had been shot and killed in the line of duty. Two of those deaths were at the hands of other cops so a total of 22 gun homicides against the police committed by civilians. During the same period The police killed 501 civilians. 108 of those people were unarmed when they were killed. So far this year police have killed almost 5 times as many unarmed civilians as police officers have been killed by civilians with guns.

Why would the "There Are Good Cops" crowd defend bad cops? You think this is binary situation? We have to hate all cops or love all cops? Rational minds don't think that way.

Former Baltimore cop says the ‘blue Kool-Aid’ pushes cops to ‘go chase drug arrests’

In an interview with the Real News Network, Wood said the very basis of police work is wrong. Police are measured by the number of arrests they make, not by their success in deescalating and resolving situations peacefully.
“So, you have the metric in policing, which is arrest,” he said. “So every officer is judged upon their arrests. So you don’t get credit for deescalating a situation. Say it takes an hour to deescalate a situation but you could have moved on in 5 minutes by making an arrest, well then the easy route is that you’re going to get credit for the arrest… so you may as well do it.”
Wood said there are no “official” arrest quotas, but officers that don’t make enough arrests are seen as not working hard enough, he said. As a supervisor, Wood expected his officers to make about 10 arrests a month.
“Certainly that’s part of the problem, I was pushing them for arrests,” he said. About 90 percent of what he did as an officer was “go chase drug arrests.”
