I'm a bit disappointed though that she misrepresents us like that on the new forum. "Oooh, the atheists are so mean and start wars all the time, as atheists are wont to.". It's an unfair stereotype that doesn't apply to most people or the general climate here, but I guess you have to have some persecution street cred to be accepted as a real Christian among the faithful.

I'm sorry about what I wrote. I was really upset when I wrote that, and I shouldn't have made it sound so general. To be fair though, what you quoted is not what I said or what I meant, and it has nothing to do with any persecution complex. Furthermore, some people here say bad stuff about Christians all the time, and stareotype us all the time (as you have just done above), in much worse ways than me basically saying I feel like crap hits the fan a lot with me here. So yes, I'm sorry I wrote that, but I'm a bit annoyed that I'm being held to a different standard and that words were put in my mouth.

I was just paraphrasing what I think your words will look like to outsiders, because I am so tired of atheists being misrepresented this way. I know that's not word for word what you wrote.

Although the above was a bit of acrid commentary, I personally never call all Christians idiots or retards or what have you. I have too many Christian friends for that.
