Peanut Gallery Commentary on the Staff Log of Bannings and such like.

Heh, unsurprising result. Though we need not anguish for too long, more will come.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!

I couldn't act like Randy if I tried.  I don't believe in preaching to people or telling people they are wrong.  Disagree with conclusions, sure.  But hey we're all still people.

Cya around neighbors!  Wink

So like. It's October.

How do you feel about going the route of properly nutty weirdness over the next 2 months... and taking that ceaselessly irritating 'weirdest member' award from me this year?

5 times winning is 4 too many for me. Do you think you have what it takes?

I think the name change might have done it this year, Violet.

prof might take the honors.

I've done a name change an average of once a year for something like 6 years, now (and 'won' all 5 of them that I could participate in). More of the somewhat subdued attitude shift, perhaps.

At least, that's my hope. I still don't know who this 'prof' fellow is, but I hope they're very weird. The forum could use some more weirdness.

'prof' is our resident "prophet." He's the one who has predicted the rapture two or three years running, and regales us with his conspiracy elite lizard people theories.

He was certain the rapture was going to happen on September 23rd. Certain!

Seriously? Prophecy is all you think that is needed to OWN the weirdness award? Prophecy...?

And, I wouldn't call it a conspiracy... if I were a tomato.

* Violet thinks that a poster needs to have a strong showing of the nonsequitur before they should be given such a prestigiously asinine reward as the award for "Weirdest Member" of this forum. But that's just her.

I know the prof will be getting my vote for weirdest member.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
