Taken early this morning, to show that my "just rolled out of bed" hair makes me look like Hyde from That 70's Show, in the "Who Do You Look Like" thread.

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

I sure hope so. The younger guys I work with already ask me if I can still remember the glaciers. They also asked me if people my age used to chisel their homework on stone tablets when we were in school. I told them that I was old enough to remember when we had rotary phones long before I phones ever came out. They wanted to know what a rotary phone was.

Yeah, I was in the middle of building a big wooden boat in the backyard and the neighbors started complaining. The city cited me for it and I had to tear it back down.
