It isn’t a stereotyping issue, it’s a you-made-a-mistake issue. You asked for one ‘lefty’ who voted against the bill, not one ‘democrat’. It was pointed out that one lefty voted against the bill.  

And no, no one here is saying that all cops are murdering racists. Some are murderers, some are racists, some are both and some are neither. But ALL cops are part of a system that is plainly racist. Even good cops, like the one who was fired ten years ago for stopping a chokehold, are unable to perform as they should because of endemic bias in police culture.
