Apparently the Saudi royal family gifted the Trump clan with animal furs and a knife with an ivory handle while he was residing in the WH. He was supposed to report them as such gifts violate US laws regarding endangered species, but Trump, of course, held on to them. After he left Washington, he turned them over and they were evaluated and found to be fake. Guess the royal fam got them at the mall.

So John Gruden has been cancelled, and fired of course. He's apparently been including all sorts of insults and offensive language in his emails for the last decade including racist remarks, homophobic slurs and other sexist/misogynistic comments. What I don't understand is how/why a professional would include this sort of language in work related emails to colleagues. I've been a professional since 1988 and have never once sent or seen an email that included even one of the type of slurs Gruden used. The worst thing I've seen is when a colleague sent me a joke of Obama that included a dollar bill with Obama as the President but his face was so dark you could only see his eyes and teeth. I responded that this was inappropriate and to stop it. That was the end of it.

WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) — A parent has sued a southeastern Wisconsin school district after her son contracted COVID-19 from a classmate.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Shannon Jensen filed the lawsuit in federal court against the Waukesha School District and school board on Oct. 5. Jensen is seeking an injunction ordering the district to comply with U.S. Centers for Disease Control COVID-19 guidelines. According to the lawsuit, the board in May removed a student mask requirement and other COVID-19 mitigation measures. One of Jensen’s son’s classmates came to school with symptoms in September and didn’t wear a mask. Jensen’s son was seated next to the sick student and was wearing a mask but still became infected.
