Of course, because there's never any middle ground is there? It's always either one extreme or the other. I mean it's not like there's other options, like - oh I don't know - education or anything. Perhaps if your pope spoke out publicly condemning these so-called minority groups, pointing out that your special book doesn't paint same-sex relationships as abominations.
Oh wait...
Isn't the middle ground what the vast majority of Christians are already?
The pope has spoken out against extremist views, and the Church does teach to treat gay people with respect and love.
