RE: "The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us..." should we be grateful?

Seen as everyone else gets to have their last two cents, I'd be remiss if I didn't give mine. This'll be the last I say in this thread, make of it what you will. I've put it in hide tags in case anyone wants to moan I'm continuing this bullshit, so if you don't want to read it, just ignore this post completely. Read it or don't, but I want to give a fair account of myself if people are accusing me of being the instigator in this.
Who's the one comparing people to the KKK/Hitler now? (Let's be real, that's exactly what you mean with this post, isn't it). The irony. Nay, the hypocrisy.
C'mon people, not taking every ounce of bullshit someone throws your way, is not the thing that's wrong in this thread. I know certain people think I've been rude. I'm not gonna deny it. But to that I'd say I'm perfectly justified with every post I've made. Name one that you think crosses the line. Demonstrate why it does and I'll concede the point to you.
I don't even think that personally, I even have been that rude. I'd say it's far more rude (and disrespectful, and insincere, and disingenuous) to come onto a forum feigning like you want a discussion then ignoring every point made, and misrepresenting people's positions, almost intentionally, and being condescending all the while doing it, sucking up to whoever agrees and buys your schtick.
Want an example of CL ignoring responses, not addressing fair criticism? Hell, troll baiting?

"Lol, ok"
Round of applause for that reply.
Just because someone's all polite and feigns respect, feigns interest, doesn't mean they're actually any better than some of the other people here who we're all perfectly happy to rag on. At least certain other people on this forum say what they mean instead of using wishy washy none-statements like "I respect your opinion". Don't get me wrong, saying that is okay from time to time if you actually come across like you mean it. But the frequency with which CL has used it, and her other forum posting habits, that I've made well aware to her myself, don't strike me as terribly genuine. I'm sorry if people disagree with me on that, but evidently I'm not the only one seeing it either.
Having said all that, I think the only people blowing this out of proportion are the one's whining about a few times someone's mentioned dick sucking without actually understanding the point of why they kept saying it. Last I checked rude words weren't against the rules. Civil discourse is encouraged, but personally I only extend that courtesy to people who I think are deserving of it.
Tibs said "This is first and foremost, a discussion forum". Right, but from where I'm sitting repeatedly evading points, playing dumb and giving posts like "Lol ok" aren't discussion. Posting poll after poll after poll to supposedly find out everyone's thoughts and then just responding to most everyone with "thanks for the response", also, isn't discussion IMHO. My honest take is that CL isn't half as interested in our opinions as she makes out she is.
All I've tried to be is intellectually honest in this thread. I defy anyone to tell me differently. The 'dick sucking' that I've harped on about is referring to the approval seeking from CL and the subsequent bias she gets people to view her posts with. Whateverist knows exactly what I'm talking about.
Hell, you want an example of that too?

Can people really stop ignoring this? Just read through the entire thread if you want more examples of this kind of thing.
I'm sorry but this isn't just about "a disagreement". This is more about certain people being intellectually dishonest and who won't actually address points made to them and who play dumb every time they're challenged. I've already listed in a previous post (not this one) the three separate occasions in this thread where CL has misrepresented the position of someone else. I'd also say it's pretty obvious if anyone reads from my first post on this thread, that I was actually rather civil. I may have been a bit sarcastic, but hey, get over it. It was only after repeated evasion, and the sense of talking to a brick wall, that I started calling out her bullshit. Because it's not the first time it's happened here. Let's not pretend anyone here is being charecteristically rude, like it's all they do. Like they can't take disagreements. That in and of itself is disingenuous and nothing more than a character attack. It's weak sauce.
If people really buy that, then yeah, it is a sad day for the forums.
Whatever peeps. Carry on giving people slack for the bullshit they come out with for no reason other than they're apparently "nice" and that you like them.
I'll just leave you all with what Rhythm has said many pages ago, if people can't understand why I'd be rude in the face of apparent politeness:
(Not trying to insinuate Rhythm agrees with everything I've said in this post, I'm sure he can speak for himself, I'm literally just using these posts as examples of why I've been, at least according to some people, rude in this thread)

For everyone who feels that having the truth on your side justifies anything, you suck. Every asshole in history shared your point of view.
