Depends on your perspective I suppose. The small number of mega mega rich who " own " a huge percentage of the wealth of this planet will see nothing much wrong with capitalism. It " works " for them.
And so on down the scale of wealth until reaching a point where the underclasses who own nothing do not see capitalism " working " for them.
Somewhere along that scale are people like me, I own a few things but I am closer to the underclass ( my wealth could go tomorrow ) than I will ever be to the mega rich. I think that capitalism definitely doesn't " work " for the benefit of all, that is why I am a socialist.

I get what you say.
My point is that in your country and mine, we used to have a choice between " left " and " right " agendas, come election time.
Since the demise of communism in Russia, the major parties in your country and mine compete to continue with a capitalist programme.
Even when it's in the crisis it is today!
