That's just it. Unless you live in Iowa or New Hampshire, you might not get a chance. That's why I think Bernie has played his hand well to this point. He'll never match Clinton's financial firepower, so he has to prove he is viable everywhere and force her to expend resources she might otherwise use to front load the primary season for a quick knockout. It's shaping up to be everything I thought the Democrats' primary contest wouldn't be prior to his entering the race: competitive and interesting. I hope his campaign has legs. With enough media coverage and close polls, he might even narrow the chasm in contributions. If that happens, all bets are off.
Clinton must be feeling a bit like Apollo Creed in Rocky II: "How the hell is this happening to me again?"
