This is just one more piece of a greater puzzle.
Except Genesis gives an account of a six thousand year old earth, and the Tetrapodophis fossil was dated sometime in the cretaceous period 110-120 million years ago. I'm not sure how you think that helps your case.
Actually Genesis does not tell us how old the earth is.
Your 6000ish years are determined by counting back the various generations to Cain and able. Which then assumes that Adam and Eve also lived a single life time. When in fact their is no time line given between the last day of creation and the fall of man. Between Genesis 2&3 all of "evolution" could have happened outside the garden.
