It seems to me that not only did he choose to live as he does, but he continues to choose to live that way.Extremely nice?
I expect someone to tell me that relationships are complex things, and try to make up excuses for someone being a total dumbfuck. However, some of us were smart enough to marry someone who is extremely nice, extremely reasonable, and very smart. (And who has a great body.) If other people choose differently, what does that tell us about them?
None of that is to say that everyone should get married; that is not something I think would be good advice at all. But if you are going to do it, think it through and pick well. Don't make a snap decision on something that can profoundly affect the rest of your life.
I'm extremely nice until somebody tries to control me. Then I'm the biggest bitch in the kitchen. But just like I don't like anybody controlling my life, I don't try to control a man.
Extremely reasonable?
You be my judge
Extremely smart?
Ibid.
Nice body?
Yes, Lord.
The man is grown. Over 21. Since he put himself in that position then maybe that's what he needs right now. When he's strong enough and has enough respect for himself, she will be history. Calling him a shit for brains will only re-enforce the low self esteem that keeps him tied to her.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
