Jesus didn't have much to say about birth control, except to set a pretty clear example of neither making babies nor spending much time being around them (apparently). So what, Jesus isn't enough, the catholics have to make up a bunch of stuff?
Here's a hint: selling your possessions and giving the proceeds to the poor isn't conducive to either finding a mate or to raising a child. Not sure Jesus was a really big family man (too much parental pressure maybe), and not sure why Catholics insist on hitting that 1000-year rewind button to get to the good stuff. Doesn't that just make you wanna-be Jews?
So no. I don't see where you're coming from, from a religious standpoint, except to subscribe to a bunch of baloney a bunch of old white guys made up to keep women barefoot, pregnant, and uninterested in politics.
