Hello isn't a fire per say, but the emotional and psylogical response one experiences when literally being consumed by Hell fire/the darkness of Hell, is the most intensively negative thing we can possible hope to endure, which in this life is fire. Hell fire however is far worse than fire, but being consumed by fire is the closest thing we could ever know.
