I view him and my grandfather, who provided false passports to jews during WWII as role models.
'Tis no wonder that you are so well-informed on history; with forebears like that, not studying it would be tantamount to disrespecting their labors.
My grandfather too fought fascism; he died in 1943, a navigator in a B-17, somewhere over northern Germany.
