I was reading a story about an 18-day manhunt for a suspected murderer in California that ended in police killing the suspect, and even though I couldn't put my finger on it, something didn't sit right with me. That's right. With instances of trigger-happy cops killing people for having their hands in their pockets, they didn't immediately fire on a supsected murder that pulled out a handgun in a confrontation. Can anyone guess what the difference was between this suspect and all of the other people shot for simply reaching in their pockets?
Ummm.... He was wearing matching socks?
