Judging from other things that they say that disregard the Constitution, I would say it is a fair statement that they do not know the difference between patriotism and treason. The same holds for many of the Republican presidential candidates, in saying what they would do if they became president (and would while being sworn in, swear to uphold the Constitution), telling us how they would violate the Constitution, and other laws.
