Before this it was a picture of me dressed as Odo meeting Rene Auberjonois at a sci-fi convention. I changed it to the Clockwork Universe after I made a monumental arse of myself in a mafia game, both because I felt ashamed and wanted to basically become anonymous again and to remind me of its message that it, and everything else in life, couldn't have been any other way.
Now that game is long forgotten and I'm much more philosophical about all mafia games, but I still like my new avatar so I'm keeping it. I only wish I noticed it more often because it really is all I need to get over or deal with pretty much anything life throws at me.
Hey emjay,
I remember you were one of the first people I talked to when I first came here a little over 4 months ago. Glad to see you around.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.
