Sure, no rant intended. Probably just came out wrong.
As for LSD, its a thing to be done once in your life in good company in a good safe environment. Pot of tea on standby if you start to loose the plot and good friends to distract you from anything that starts to freak you out.
If you like it and do it more often I would say no more than once a month. Keep reality in focus, although I would say that about most of the harder drugs. The problems start when you take them too often and its becomes a regular thing. ie: when going out on Friday you *must* take something to have a good time.... its the first sign that you are doing too much.
Had a friend who was definitely doing too much speed when he started putting a spoon of speed in his morning coffee!

Cannabis is about the best. You can smoke and smoke the stuff, then sleep it off and wake up feeling fine and ready for work (providing you have a full nights rest and don't stay up all night playing games and smoking more - oh the memories - lack of productivity at work is a definite outcome).
Was a very heavy pot smoker for about 10 years along with the occasional other drugs. No bad side effects. My wife says I have a terrible memory but my mum used to say that when I was a kid as well... so no change there. Didn't negatively impact on my career either. I moved from jobs to better jobs throughout this period. Quitting (more or less) also was not a problem, although it was prompted by the impending birth of our firstborn. Still enjoy a smoke from time to time, but only a few times per year.
The only negative side was financial as I could have spent that money on other things. On the other hand I had a friend who was an audiophile and spent 10x what I was spending on drugs on audo equipment etc. There is a financial term called utility, which represents the amount of use/pleasure/enjoyment/satisfaction/proft you get out of an investment. I would say the money I spent on weed gave me a lot of utility... if not much to show for it.

A finite number of monkeys with a finite number of typewriters and a finite amount of time could eventually reproduce 4chan.
