The problem I have is with them putting it right next to a Christian/Jewish symbol, because whether they like it or not, their symbol still originally comes from the Christian/Jewish religion as a symbol of evil. So by wanting to put it next to the Ten Commandments, they are knowingly and purposely defiling something that is sacred to a lot of people. Just pick a different spot in the same property.
Because either all religious symbols are banned from these buildings or all are allowed. By insisting that only christian symbols can be there you are oppressing people who are not christian. This was the intent of the statue, to rub peoples noses in religion.
Where did I say this?
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
