The thing is, Kim Davis is utterly irrelevant to the case of Kim Davis. As a person she's just an unpleasant face to put on the real issue, which is a government employee refusing to provide a service that the citizens of her county are legally entitled to. So long as that happens, both I and the law couldn't care less about the ignorant bitch; the first court case she lost had the judge give her the option of simply allowing her deputies to issue the marriage licenses, just as the conditions for her release from jail state now. I suppose this might be all according to plan for her, since it's apparent that her actual aims are to get everyone to care about her backwards religious beliefs, not to protect the sanctity of her religious convictions.
