What would you consider to be evidence for God?
RE: What would you consider to be evidence for God?
(September 9, 2015 at 3:00 am)Wyrd of Gawd Wrote: How about having all of the galaxies arrange themselves to write out the entire Catholic Bible across the sky so that everyone can real it at the same time in their own written language?   And if it's Allah who is the big wig then he can have them do the same with the Koran.  Likewise whichever deity is the real deal he can do the same thing with his holy book.

Or how about giving everyone a minimum IQ of 500,000?

Or how about producing the 969 year-old Methuselah?
Evidence is in the record.
---------------------------------------
Scripture stated creation accurately millenniums before scientific verification.
God -
1. Created the physical universe. *
2. Cleared away the interplanetary debris and partially transformed Earth’s atmosphere so light (non-visible spectrum) from the heavenly bodies could penetrate to the surface of Earth’s oceans primary for photosynthesis.
3. Established the water cycle.
4. Formed ocean basins and continental land masses and then subsequent land plant growth,
5. Transformed the atmosphere from translucent to transparent (visible light).
6. Produced swarms of small sea animals.
7. Created birds and sea mammals.
8. Created land mammals capable of interacting with the future human race which included bi-pedal mammals** as Neanderthals (non-spirit hominid - as is all mammals; and consequently have no existence after bodily death).
9. Created human species (Adam and Eve). Endowed with a spirit (described as ‘made in God’s image’) which gives them many orders-of-magnitude capabilities above mammals; and will have existence after bodily death.

Once the accuracy for the past has been established, the future record can be trusted. God uses this universe to bring an end to evil and suffering; thus sin was allowed to enter this ‘world’ and infect all of us to accomplish this purpose. God only needed one specie - Homo sapiens sapiens. That’s why the SETI Institute is wasting resources.

*The first 9 billion years (by) were required to create heavy elements which were a product of stellar heat. These heavy elements are needed for the formation of planets and a requirement for advance life. Then it took around 3.5 (by) for outer-space radiation sources to subside enough for advance life.
**Took around 1 (by) for enough animal and plant deaths to build-up bio-deposits for energy and building elements to launch a high-tech global society.***
***The reason for this society is to provide the resources to fulfill the ’church’s’ mission ’the great commission’ which is that salvation is a free gift to everyone. Once that task has been completed, Christ the Creator will return to earth to wrap-up the conquest and removal of evil (appears evil will be confined dimensionally to Hell - forever sealed of from the New Creation). Scripture gave the scientific timeline for the past universe’s records and also gives the future which is: The ‘now’ current period (most biblical scholars agree this period began when the state of Israel was established, 1948 May, and most agree this period’s outer boundary is 100 years [a biblical generation]; this 100 years would include a 7-year tribulation period culminating in the Return of Christ to earth. Then, 75 days transition period to the Millennium kingdom (an OT promise) followed by the 1000 year reign of Christ on Earth, then the great white-throng judgment where the books are opened. Next followed by destruction of this universe (old creation), and then creation of the ‘new creation’ where evil won’t exist nor even it’s potentiality.
Atheist Credo: A universe by chance that also just happened to admit the observer by chance.
