Nervous laughter or fawning for validation/approval.
The former is an annoyance. Laugh at a joke, laugh at your own jokes, fine. But if you are tittering nervously between phrases or words, I have an alpha response to stifle.
Fawning for approval/validation drives me up a wall. If you say something and look around nervously, or just overall seek attention passive aggressively, there is another alpha response I have to stifle.
In my world, farting is a sign of respect.
