He said "they've all gone republican" which just is not true. Definitely not in Georgia at least. There are many many people who still identify as democrats even though they're actually republicans. They're referred to as Dixiecrats.

Regardless of the article there are still people who call themselves democrats or Dixiecrats (mostly rich old people)that I would consider republicans. Also red states tend to have crappy democrats in general. Yea yea the no true democrat fallacy lol. I'm just saying...most politicians in red states suck regardless of political party.
