The pope told her to "stay strong"?!?!?!?! Yeah, right. Sounds like something he uses in every day speech. Along with "Only you can prevent forest fires".
I wonder if it is true or if she is just lying.
My guess is that the vatican has a policy of never confirming or denying meetings with the pope, except when they announce a meeting themselves. That way, their response is always the same, whether there was a secret meeting or not. Which means that the pope can meet people in secret without giving away when he does.
And if that is their general policy, then it makes it easy for people to claim to meet with the pope, when it is just a lie.
