I'm with you, MTL. I really don't go for the obviously fake. Not that it's bad if its your thing, but my take on it is- if you look exactly the same naked as you do dressed, then you're really not offering up any vulnerability, and it's exactly that trusting exposure that I find incredibly sexy and intimate. Nothing turns me on more than trusting me with your flaws.

Does the same apply if a partner trusts you enough to tell you a fantasy she's never shared?
Or something new that she had to work up the nerve to ask you to try?

What if the thing that she wants to do, specifically, doesn't turn you on
....but the fact that she trusted you enough to ask, in the first place....does?

Yes! Definitely. The biggest turn off in the world to me is being judgmental. Little things like this show me that you aren't judgmental, and I'm likely to try anything with/for you, even if I wouldn't particularly be into it otherwise. It probably stems from my own insecurities. I know I can let them go when a partner is willing to show me their insecurities. Once insecurities are thrown out for both parties, everything gets a lot more relaxed and exciting at the same time.

I had a crush on a lady who I jammed with (voice of an angel, I tell you), and I could sense she had a crush on me. She and I were with another female friend telling some sex war stories. She was initially hesitant to reveal a certain detail, but eventually said she was banging a dude in the shower and she got swept up in the moment and told the guy to... hmmm how to put this... drop a deuce on her chest... Now, that's not something I'm into at all and would probably vomit from the smell, but I found myself more attracted to her just because she shared that with me, and because of the level of non-judgment she had. Also, any sort of kink I would be worried about sharing was blown out if the water by that, so I no longer had to worry about that, which is nice. I believe the common phrase would be "You know she'd be down for anything.", but I think that undermines the true value of an outlook like that, an completely misses the point.

I enjoy the company of old folks for the same reason. Yeah, there's the bigotry stereotype with old people, but you also find the ones that have seen it all, and just don't judge a god damned thing. They're easy to be around.
