current culture......christian sterotype....victorian hold over values....slut vrs stud....sex as a dirty thing.....in my mind sex as a natural thing....

Growing up in America sex was a taboo and dirty thing until marriage. So until then you were supposed to just wonder what it was like. at least as far as the christian idea went. However most people with the title of "christian" damn well didn't follow that.
It was very mysogoncic (thats not a word is it) male dominated.
I challenged the concept that it was okay for a man to bang all he wanted and be considered a "stud" but if a woman did that then she was a "slut". I hated that because I'm a fair minded individaull.
one thing i have heard is that nothing is more coveted than that which is forbidden.
in the culture i grew up in women weren't supposed to have easy sex so then the porn industry gives us the out let of easy sexual women. YAY!!! not real life (usually) but it's a nice fantasy.
I feel (so don't ask for referenced stats since it's just an oppinion) that Christianity is directly responsible for promoting pornography because if it weren't so taboo (and from what i see the xtians made it taboo) then it wouldn't be the industry it is today.
Actaully hearing xtians talk about sex in a comfortable and factual way is suprising to me. Not that I mind.
