Quote: 1. The deliberate killing of innocent humans is morally wrong.
2. Elective abortion is the deliberate killing of an innocent human.
Two problems
(1) Is an absolute moral imperative which I reject outright. EG: I fully support voluntary euthanasia. I am livid that is not an option [currently] available to me as I face the realistic prospect of developing arteriosclerosis and dying by inches over the next 10-15 years.I'm obliged to make my own arrangements.That will cause deep distress to those who love me as well as unnecessary inconvenience and expense to the community.
(2) Is an opinion based on religious doctrine,not evidence. I'm aware of no evidence that a foetus is human being before it is viable ex utero.
Until the second premise is established,in my opinion abortion is a medical issue ,between the patient and her doctor AND NO ONE ELSE.It is NOT a moral issue. Fortunately for many thousands of women,that is also the legal position in my country.
@Summer Queen.
Only once a month? That was a permanent condition for my ex wife, Crune Punt.
