It makes sense when you realize that no one is getting their marching orders from one guy. They're not all talking to Jesus, or Jesus is really bad at communication. Whoever wrote the bible knew this was going to happen from day one, just like they knew their religion wouldn't work too well because the road to heaven is narrow, and the road to hell is broad. There's not really anything to be done about it, though. Just take who you can, and kill the apostates.
This is why being atheists makes more sense than believing in a god because the judo christian religion is heavily flawed.
Does that mean Islam makes sense?
