The one nice thing about prayer (if you believe when you do it), is that it gives you a false sense of hope in hopeless situations. And I think a false sense of hope can be a good thing. It's like a placebo. It makes you feel better because you believe it will make you feel better.
i agree with you on the false sense of hope in hopeless situations but using prayer in any other means i mean like over small stuff like trying to win the lottery yeah that is highly unlikely.
