I didn't watch it. I know who I'm voting for, so it would be like watching paint dry.
I'm a big fan of Bernie myself, but I honestly don't see him winning. Greedy people will make sure it doesn't happen, and too many idiots who don't know why they're better off voting for Bernie instead of Hillary or the others.
QFT.
And for heartbreak at that truth.
For all the BS we hear from the GOP about "restoring America" (to what, exactly? Anyone who says that phrase has not read Noam Chomsky), I think Sanders could be the first person who's willing to take on the issues most necessary to make us a nation of decency again, and restore our place both as a first world nation and a member of the world community.
But as you say, the same special interest groups who have ruined our potential will spend whatever it takes to destroy him.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
