Hillary was to be the candiate without question. It was to be a coronation. Heck, the head of the DNC was the head of her campaign in 08, hence the reason they party tried their hardest to ignore Bernie.
The problem is that the people didn't allow it. We are sick of politics as usual. I, for one, no longer care about labels. I want someone who believes in what I do. I want someone who says "we need campaign finance reform" and then proves they mean it by not having PACs. I want someone who hasn't been bought and paid for because I know they won't be. I want someone who thinks about how much debt my daughter is acquiring in college and our seniors are losing. Someone that understands that when the minimum wage was set up it was to be a living wage and it isn't now. I just want someone on our side not GE's side or, CITIbank's or... You get the idea. Call himself what he will. I want someone from the Warren side of the party and Bernie is there.
We are basically a form of a socialist country now. Social Security, Medicare, Fire Dept, Police Dept. We simply don't want to think of it that way. What we want to look at is how we deal with business. Ok, fine. first off, Bernie is not a Socialist in the traditional sense of the word. he is a Democratic Socialist. That is a " horse of a different color" as we say down here:). He wants to protect small and medium size businesses and not gigantic corps. I, for one, can go for that considering that I worked in the lending world before and during the crash. I know what they did. They saw the collapse coming for over a year and the big wigs made a lot of money while the average American lost their shirt and then we covered their butt so they could stay in business. They wouldn't have done it for you or I. We can't let the "he can't win" be a self fulfilling prophesy. We can't let the media make our decision for us.
