Christians - even the Bible says that Jesus was not God so why do you say he was ?

soooo waiting on all the christians to explain why they believe jesus was God even though its probabally just something theyve always been told and they never really questioned it because the preacher told them it was true

7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

Is it your contention that Jesus' self-characterizations and references to his relationship with Yahweh found in the Synoptic Gospels are essentially the same as what is found in John?
