yes i am going to start a thread on christian forums although there are christians here ..... yes jesus did have a relationship with God and was inspired by God but does distinguish that he was not God despite knowing God and despite Gods inspiration being in his mind "The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works."
Rather, Jesus distinguished that he was not the Father. The passage above is a clear claim to equality with the Father. As the Son, Jesus humbled Himself in His earthly ministry.
God is the "father" of us all thats why in the Lords prayer it is said " OUR father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name ... "
John 20:16-18 :
16 Jesus saith unto her,Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. 17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the LORD, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you will join us And the world will be as one - John Lennon
