RE: Christians - even the Bible says that Jesus was not God so why do you say he was ?

All jokes aside (but thanks for the compliment, Vorlon), I can't grasp how it's not obvious to people that any deity that has the same prurient interests in what/where/how humans use their genitalia that humans do is a projection of our psychology, not the Creator of the Universe.
By comparison, the self-centered hubris which led us to believe that the earth was the center of the universe and that even the sun went around us is miniscule!
When people say things against homosexuals (or fornicators, or adulterers, etc) based on the "God is Watching You!" principle, it just makes me want to go slack-jawed. How can they not see this? You people seriously think that, of the two possible options, this deity of yours is all hot and bothered over who's fucking whom, rather than the obvious psychological projection of humans?

A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
