Cause & effect and karma might not be the same in the English language , however both have very close meanings. They don't contradict each other like - +. Only cause and effect is bound to this physical world.
I have told you once that I don't know what will happen to me when I die. I might go to heaven, hell, reborn or just cease to exist. If I was sitting on my beliefs i wouldn't have made that claim. Since you asked about karma only I tried my best to explain. I'm always open to new evidence. Which is why I joined this forum for discussion.
