I can't help but think that Carson was never really serious about winning the presidency anyway. In this fucked up country, there's nothing like a doomed presidential bid that appeals to the lunatic fringe to score a sweet book deal, a talking-head spot on Fox News, or a lucrative stint giving canned speeches to the idiots who will still line up to hear his drivel long after his campaign goes down in flames.
There will always be a percentage of Christians who will hold him dear for "standing up" for his stupid beliefs. But Min's right: the clock is running and he'll soon reach his sell-by date, after which he'll have trouble cashing in on his celebrity. He's this year's Alan Keyes, nothing more.
Alan who?
My point exactly.
