No, don't take it too seriously, your ending was just so theatrical that I couldn't resist sabotaging it a bit . Carry on.
I guess what i'm realizing is that for things like this if people don't see it the way you see it they will likely not assign the same meaning you did, and think it's without purpose.
Seems like a lot of people didn't see it the way I saw it on this one....oh well..
