Even if you're not Catholic I highly recommend midnight mass at your local parish. Go home and whip up some eggnog and pigs in blankets. Light some candles and and turn off the electricity. Read a couple short traditional Christmas tales.
Once everyone is in the mood go in rounds until each member of the family has told every other member what they appreciate the most about the other. This should result in plentiful hugs and kisses. End the night in song.
