It's a TV show. The point isn't to be realistic, it's to be compelling.
I don't think unrealistic things are compelling.
I don't mind any science fiction or horror where the entire premise is unrealistic, for example zombies have taken over or there's a monster who can read your mind.
I do mind when characters within the made up situation have unrealistic behaviours, for example turning down the company of a woman who looks like a supermodel when she's literally one of the last women alive in the local population as far as anyone knows.
In general I don't like it when obvious characters survive either.
I actually really don't understand how these zombies gained so many numbers to begin with. Normal civilians can kill these things with a fast hit to the head with a baseball bat. They would never be able to over run an army, ever. They have no intelligence, and their max speed is around 10 miles per hour, their only weapons are teeth. A tank or even a well armoured vehicle of any kind would be able to kill thousands of these things with no real effort.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
