Thing is here in the UK at least, many of the immigrants that come here to work actually work a lot harder and for less money. Whereas there are a lot of lazy racist British people native to this country who do the absolute minimum whilst telling immigrants to "go back to where they came from", and that's the Britons who actually have jobs and aren't perpetually on job-seeker-allowance.
Many of the immigrants who come here have to work hard because no one is going to give them special treatment just for being native to this country. Instead they have to do a good job because otherwise people - wrongly - discriminate against them for not being British.
