This is full on retarded, if true. They expect cinemas to have to show anything anyone brings to them without discretion? Fuck off. They are not propaganda platforms. I though people would have more sense. Every fucking town in England has at least one Christian church, usually several. No one needs telling what Christianity is.
I wonder if the church were prepared to pay the going rate for such an advert? I doubt it.
This is a small issue, but worth fighting I think. It's stuff like this that acts as precedent and allows (more) elements of theocracy to creep back in.
I am on the side with the cinema's they don't have to show anything in regards to religion or politics people pay money to
go to a movie and enjoy it not to have religious pandering shoved in their faces. The church can go fuck off religion specifically
speaking christianity dying in the US and the EU.
