I cannot believe in God and claim to be an atheist, I cannot be an atheist and claim to believe in God.
When I, as an atheist, state that God exists, my statement is dishonest, and God does not approve of dishonesty.
When I, as an atheist, tell you that God exists, am I committing a sinful action? If so, why? If not, why not?
No, I'm asking if God would consider it a sin to acknowledge the existence of God disingenuously. Or perhaps, if one were to preach the truth of the gospel while not actually believing it, would it be a sin? Would the people who listened be complicit in that sin? If you managed to convert people, would those people be complicit in sin? How does it work?
