You do realize that the chances of that happening are about the same as someone inventing a time machine?

I am for banning guns too(in my perfect utopia) , but like you said it is a slim chance that will happen. I think it would take a couple generations, and unfortunately society might simply have to get tired over a long time over the death. I am under no illusion that unlike Trump you can deport 11 million people suddenly. 

But you are delusional in thinking the status quo  is acceptable. "Do nothing" and "me me me: and "Rights rights rights" and "other bad shit happens so do nothing", and especially "more guns" isn't cutting it.

So if we both want to reduce gun death, we have been doing it the right's way. We need national standards, state by state turns any regulations into a spaghetti strainer.
