All Hail the Second Amendment

Problem is we only give lip service to it.

I've read it a number of times and all I can come up with is we are allowed to own any and all weapons we want. There is no prohibition against RPG's hand grenades flame throwers and whatever.

That the ATF, OSI, and others have been able to restrict automatic wepons, as far as I'm concerned, illegal and the fact the agrees with them is even worse.

As I read it NO types of weapons are exempt from our hands.

The requirement that one must take weapons care and use classes before (or after for that matter) isn't even covered in the 2nd Amendment is another case against the restriction of firearms.

I guess I'll get no end of arguments against my ideas.

When that fucking amendment was written they meant this.



They also explicitly said "a well-regulated militia" not every shithead wandering around with a gun.

Granted that is probably what was meant but BUT and that is a very big but
the type of weapon is not specified, that is, a particular weapon or types of weapons.

You have to be putting me on if the only type of weapon we should be allowed is a flint lock rifle with no lands and groves, one that uses as a projectile a round (or nearly so) made of lead and uses black powder to propel the "bullet".

If you get the impression I am a fanatical Second Amendment supporter You are right. But I am also not an NRA supporter, not by a long shot, except when it comes to organized shooting matches.

And if you think I like it I don't; I'd gladly support all kinds of weapons control but until the Second Amendment is modified or removed altogether.
