Islam has rules about everything in life in contrast to "render unto caesar the things which are caesar's "

Christianity starting off as a marginal sect with zero political power influenced it's theology concerning the 'rulers of this world' quite greatly. While Islam starting off by the year dot as a religion of the 'rulers of this world' likewise shaped it's theology.

Anyway that saying of Jesus finishes "give to god which is god's". Indeed the slavery to Jesus Christ required of Christians by the New Testament is about as absolute as that required of Muslims towards Allah.

And this gives christianity a slight advantage over Islam on the grounds of adapting. A christian could easily say my faith is personal, I want to live my life as a true christian without bothering anyone but a Muslim is obliged to make Islam ruler of this world.
